Our IT Systems Analyst is responsible for developing strategies for design development testing implementation backup and disaster recovery and production usage for both hardware and software application platforms for DEQ mission-critical applications.

In this role youll :

Craft the future of environmental technology : Design develop and implement mission-critical software and hardware applications.

Leverage your skills in a combination of the following areas : SQL queries and data reporting REST APIs ServiceNow (AppEngine Forms & Reports) Web Development (HTML CSS Javascript) UI / UX and Moodle Administration Oracle database administration and GitLab.

Become a security champion : Ensure application and database security standards are upheld and implemented.

Deliver solutions that matter : Create software solutions for diverse needs across end-user mid-tier and web-based systems.

The IT Systems Analyst position includes a career ladder for professional development and pay progression.

Qualifications

Associate degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field with an emphasis on information technology and / or software application engineering. Relevant Bachelors degree preferred.

Four (4) years job-related experience in software applications engineering or other closely related field of work.

Alternative combinations of education and experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
