Pay Rate: $23.00 per hour

Reports To:Concept Manager

Status:Non-exempt

Broad Functions: Welcome and warmly greet guests on arrival. Manage the efficient and timely seating of guests at a table that best serves their wishes and needs.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Warmly and graciously greet all guests upon arrival.
2. When possible, open the front door for guests entering or leaving the restaurant.
3. When immediate seating is limited, record guest names and number of people in party.
4. Call out the name and number of the party when tables become available.
5. Provide guests with estimated waiting time.
6. Accommodate special seating requests for guests whenever possible.
7. Seat guest guests based on guest preferences and balancing of customer flow in service stations.
8. Upon seating, offer guests a menu and inform them of their server's name. Inspect the table for proper presentation and completeness.
9. Keep accurate guess count to ensure proper and efficient seating rotation.
10. Relay messages to servers and bus persons as needed.
11. Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return.

Skills and Qualifications:

1. At least 6 months of experience in a full-service restaurant.
2. Verbal and written English language are essential. Able to read, speak and understand the English language to communicate with guests and take orders.
3. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
4. Excellent organizational skills.
5. Excellent guest service skills with attention to detail.
6. Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.
