We are looking for an experienced Manufacturing Estimator with a minimum of 5 years experience to join our team at Euless Aero Components, LLC. This role is responsible for analyzing project specifications, preparing cost estimates, and supporting the sales and engineering teams in developing competitive proposals. This role requires a deep understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and cost drivers to ensure profitable and efficient production.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review customer RFQs, drawings, and process specifications to develop cost estimates and sales proposals for aircraft machine parts and assemblies.
- Obtain material and outside vendor processing costs.
- Work closely with production to develop labor hours.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to validate cost assumptions and manufacturing feasibility.
- Prepare quotes consistent with company pricing strategy.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Utilize ERP software and other tools to streamline the estimating process and manage quotes.
Qualifications:
- Ability to read and understand complex drawings and process specifications for commercial and military aircraft machine parts and assemblies.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with aircraft machine part estimating.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
- Proficient in Excel and ERP systems.
- CNC machining knowledge, lathe and mill.
- Strong negotiating skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in engineering, manufacturing, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience with cost modeling and value engineering principles.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Previous experience working in ISO 9001 or AS9100-certified environments.
