Director of Finance

A company is looking for a Director of Finance to establish and lead its finance function as it scales.

Key Responsibilities

Own all aspects of financial planning, analysis, and reporting as the first finance hire

Design and implement an enterprise-grade analytics system in collaboration with the data engineering team

Lead financial due diligence for funding rounds and maintain investor communications

Required Qualifications

5-7+ years of progressive finance experience, with at least 2 years in high-growth startups

Advanced financial modeling skills and experience with modern FP&A tools

Proven track record implementing BI / analytics platforms for stakeholders

Understanding of SaaS metrics and ideally healthcare / veterinary economics

Experience selecting and implementing financial systems (ERP, billing, revenue recognition)
