Director of Accounting

A company is looking for a Director of Accounting to lead a team of accounting professionals and oversee financial activities.

Key Responsibilities

Manage monthly and fiscal year-end accounting close activities to ensure compliance with GAAP

Mentor and develop the accounting team while coordinating internal and external audit activities

Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial results analysis

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

At least 7 years of progressively responsible accounting experience

Experience in leading and managing teams

Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and financial controls

Experience with cross-functional system integration projects
