Accounts Payable Specialist

We are currently looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist. Managed full-cycle accounts payable using Blackbaud Financial Edge to process high volumes of vendor invoices with accuracy and timeliness. Reconciled purchase orders, invoices, and payments ensuring compliance with internal controls and nonprofit accounting standards. Prepared and maintained vendor records, handled check runs, ACH payments, and credit card reconciliations through Blackbaud. Collaborated with accounting and development teams to align donor-funded expenditures with grant budgets and project allocations. Generated AP aging reports, assisted in month-end close, and provided documentation for audits. Demonstrated proficiency in Blackbaud Financial Edge, Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP), and expense management systems.

Requirements :

• 2+ years of experience in Accounts Payable or general accounting.
• Proficiency in Blackbaud Financial Edge or NXT (required).
• Strong knowledge of invoice processing, vendor management, and payment cycles.
• Experience with nonprofit or grant-funded accounting preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data reconciliation).
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
• Ability to meet deadlines and handle a high volume of transactions.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Knowledge of GAAP and internal control procedures.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (preferred).
