Your final base salary will be determined based on your education, experience, licensure, and internal equity considerations. The Director of Maternal Child Health is responsible for directing strategy, operations, and the clinical practice environment. The service line includes Labor & Delivery, Maternity, Special Care Nursery, and Pediatrics. The Director of MCH works closely with Medical Directors. L &D has a laborist program, residency program, and private providers to do over 1400 deliveries annually. A clinical affiliation with Tufts Children's Hospital is in place for pediatrics and neonatology. The Director will promote standardized systems ensuring a strong nursing practice environment and a philosophy of patient-centered care. The candidate should demonstrate a commitment to excellence, innovations in practice, teamwork, and a focus on family-centered care. This position reports to the Senior Vice-President of Operations / Chief Nursing Officer. Requirements include current Massachusetts Registered Nurse licensure. Bachelor's degree and Master's degree in nursing are also required. Must have 5 years' experience in maternal child health care in an acute care hospital, and a minimum of 3 years' management experience and demonstrated leadership. Nursing leadership and clinical certifications are preferred.
