Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Home Health RN with Epic experience and a valid VA or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

Home Health setting serving patients in a 25-mile radius from the Roanoke office

Typical caseload is an average of 6 visits per day in both city and rural areas

Care areas include Fincastle, New Castle, Daleville, Troutville, Roanoke City and County, Salem, Catawba, Bent Mountain, and Boones Mill

Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM (five 8-hour day shifts)

May float to other offices as needed

Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility; limited to one assignment if home address is between 50 and 99.9 miles away

Duties involve comprehensive nursing assessments and OASIS documentation

Driving required to remote and rural patient locations

Must provide two professional references for consideration

Requirements

Active RN license for VA or compact state

Current BLS certification

At least 2 years of Home Health RN experience

Prior travel nursing experience required

Proficient in OASIS data collection and nursing assessments

Experience with Epic EMR required
