Descripción del trabajo5+ years of QA / QC experience in Welding / Fabrication (shop pipe fabrication experience strongly preferred) with demonstrated ASME Section I, V, VIII, B31.1, B31.3, B31.8, API 1104 application. Practical welding background and working knowledge of ASME Section IX (WPS / PQR / WPQ). Ability to read isometrics and shop sheet drawings. Proficiency with ITPs / SDRs, quality records management and understanding customer requirements. Strong leadership, communication, and problem solving skills. Ability to pass background check and drug test.
Preferred :
- AWS CWI (or equivalent VT credentials)
- NACE / AMPP Coating Inspector certification and hands on industrial coatings QA (SSPC / NACE / AMPP)
- Bachelor's degree in Welding Engineering, Metallurgy / Materials, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- Experience in a union shop and with major owner / EPC specifications (refining / chemical / power)
