Respiratory Therapist - RRT\n\n

This is a 13-week contract position.

\n\nSchedule\n

Day shift, 3x12-hour, from 06 : 00 to 18 : 00, every other weekend.

\n\nJob Description\n

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Respiratory Therapist with a focus on respiratory therapy and neuro diagnostics. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to adult patients, including those in critical care settings, while working collaboratively as part of a healthcare team.

\n\nResponsibilities\n \n

  • Administer respiratory care and oxygen therapy to adult patients.

    • \n

  • Manage and troubleshoot mechanical ventilation, including BiPAP and CPAP.

    • \n

  • Perform emergency airway management tasks such as intubation assistance and extubation.

    • \n

  • Collect sputum specimens and perform tracheostomy care and suctioning.

    • \n

  • Provide nebulizer treatments and maintain airway management devices.

    • \n \n\nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n \n

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist.

    • \n

  • Current BLS and RRT certifications required.

    • \n

  • Experience with EPIC electronic health records system preferred.
