About us :

• Level II trauma, tertiary care center serving the northern 2 / 3 of Maine.
• 38k patients / year encompassing all ages, highest acuity ED in the state.
• Low volume of ESI 4 / 5 patients, averaging 14 a day.
• Group consists of 18 B / C Emergency Medicine Physicians and 9 Physician Associates. Dual physician coverage 24 / 7
• Care areas include the main ED, Behavioral Health, observation, and holding areas.
• Full support of medical specialists.
