ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Abilene, Texas.

Job Details :

  • Work Monday to Friday schedule with call and late days as needed
  • 12-hour shifts with 1 : 1 patient ratio
  • 40-hour orientation period required
  • Specializes in Neuro / Spine, Ortho / trauma, and General / robotics / trauma procedures
  • Craniotomy and burr hole experience required (hard stop requirement)
  • 2 years of OR experience required
  • Previous charge experience preferred
  • Travel experience preferred
  • Required certifications : ACLS, BLS, CNOR, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC
  • Must be proficient with Da Vinci Xi Surgical System
  • Experience needed with various procedures including amputations, spinal fusions, joint replacements, laparoscopic procedures, and trauma cases
  • Work with patients of all age groups : pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
  • Allscripts / Altera charting system experience preferred
  • Must complete non-billable modules averaging 6-8 hours during orientation
  • Facility conducts mandatory drug screening upon arrival including marijuana testing
  • Must be available to complete required lab items within 72 hours of accepting offer
