About The Position

Must-Have : Cardiac telemetry experience required

Management and interpretation of dysrhythmias experience required

Description :

Candidates must have prior experience in a progressive care unit.

The role involves floating between various facilities as needed.

Responsibilities include peripheral line care and management, as well as PICC line management.

Candidates should be familiar with titrating drips.

A pass / fail EKG exam is required for all RNs.

Candidates must exhibit flexibility with scheduling.

There is a zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences.

Compliance must be completed on time, without any upcoming vacations that may hinder the process.

Patient care will involve managing patients with a variety of diagnoses including stroke and sepsis.

The unit is equipped with telemetry monitored beds providing cardiac surveillance.

Interdisciplinary support includes teams for pharmacy, respiratory services, and social services.

The daily census is approximately 30 patients.

Candidate should be prepared for a possible rotation of weekend and holiday shifts.

All travelers must adhere to COVID-19 vaccination requirements, with exemptions only for medical or religious reasons.

Preferred candidates will possess charge experience and familiarity with Epic charting system.
