Building Engineer- De Silva Island

Action Property Management, the leader in community management, is seeking a full-time Building Engineer to join our team at our luxury association, De Silva Island located in Mill Valley. Schedule : Monday-Friday; 8 : 00 AM- 5 : 00 PM + On-Call For Emergencies Compensation : $35.00- $40.00 Per Hour

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities :

• Responsible for maintaining, correcting deficiencies, and / or making repairs to all common areas within the Association
• Oversee all facets of the daily operations of the building, ensuring compliance with HOA policies and regulations as required by code and regulatory enforcement agencies.
• Monitor and maintain optimum performance of all building systems to include mechanical, electrical / electronic, fire life safety, smoke control, security, HVAC, and water circulation system.
• Coordinate and interact with external contractors and vendors to ensure timely maintenance and repairs, as well as adherence to quality standards.
• Plan and implement a preventative maintenance program to minimize downtime and prolong the lifespan of building systems.
• Collaborate with General Manager on modifications and improvements to building systems, including control software, to enhance efficiency and functionality.
