Descripción del trabajoStart Date : ASAP End Date : 12 / 08 / 25 (likely extension) Interviews patients, measures vital signs, such as pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height, and records information on patients' charts Assist with front desk and administrative duties as needed Medical surveillance, to include respirator fit testing, audiometry testing, pulmonary function testing, and vision acuity testing Prepares treatment rooms and patients for examination Cleans and sterilizes instruments Inventories and orders medical supplies and materials Operates electrocardiograph (EKG) and other equipment to administer routine diagnostic tests Certified Medical Assistant with prior occupational health or emergency / acute care experience a plus Phlebotomy experience needed Experience with EPIC EMR is a plus Current hands-on training in AHA or ARC Basic Life Support for health care providers is required
Immediate Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) contract opportunity at our Corporate Health Center in Orlando, FL. This position will work both the front desk (check-in / out, phones, scheduling, taking payments, greeting teammates), provide clinical support to the provider (rooming teammates, vitals, EKG, assist with private exams, etc.), and manage the lab (phlebotomy, POCT and processing labs).
Pay Rate : $23.00 / hr
Work Schedule :
- 7 : 30am - 5 : 00pm (Monday to Thursday)
- 8 : 00am - 12 : 00pm (Friday)
- No parking fee and there is easy access into the building
