Clerk, Stockroom (Weekend Shift)

Stock Room

The Stock Room position requires to receive all parts and tools related to the operation and function of the engine shop, establishing pick up and drop off points and storage solutions. The role requires operation of forklift, as well as moving parts to be readily available for mechanics. Maintaining live inventory and informing department heads of any part requires missing, delayed, or overstocked.

Responsibilities:

1. Establishing delivery/pick up points for all deliveries
2. Comparing invoice with purchase order assuring everything requested is received
3. Organizing received parts
4. Ensuring inventory is accurate, kept up-to-date and maintain communication with managers to avoid setbacks due to parts missing or delayed
5. Primary contact for parts movement
6. Pull parts from inventory for work orders.
7. Maintain accurate documentation of related to parts.
8. Receiving and shipping coverage as needed.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Physically able to lift/move ~40 lbs
• Forklift certification
• Basic computer skills Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook- and ability to learn other software
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S
• Must be fluent in English (written and verbal)

Job Demands:

Work is performed in a shop environment and requires the ability to perform extensive standing, driving, walking, and climbing; to lift up to 50lbs. regularly; to manipulate up to 100lbs. with assistance. Must be able to bend, stoop, climb to reach materials, and work in a noisy environment.
