Bookkeeper
We are looking for a bookkeeper who will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting, job costing, accounts payable / receivable, and payroll. A solid understanding of construction estimating is required to support budgeting and cost control efforts on projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar)
- Perform job costing and track expenses by project
- Process accounts payable and receivable, invoices, and vendor payments
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and vendor statements
- Prepare financial reports, including P&L, cash flow, and balance sheets
- Assist with estimating by reviewing plans, material take-offs, and subcontractor bids
- Support project managers with budget tracking and cost-to-complete analysis
- Manage payroll and ensure compliance with construction labor laws
