Leadership and Stakeholder Exposure

This role offers a unique opportunity to collaborate directly with members of the Global Leadership Team (GLT) and Executive Leadership Team (ELT). By engaging with senior leaders, you will gain valuable insights and visibility, enhancing your leadership skills and professional growth within the organization.

Position Responsibilities

Manage processes and data quality within Archer. Lead the department's effective utilization of the Archer. Champion initiatives to enhance and innovate the user experience with the Audit Management Software, aligning with the department's strategic goals. Ensure the quality and completeness of all communications provided to the Audit Committee, Executive Management, regulators, and other key stakeholders, maintaining high standards of accuracy and relevance. Manage key department programs and processes, including Privacy, Records Management, Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery preparedness. Manage the gathering, reporting, and tracking of information for external regulators. Serve as the audit representative and manage the integration within the Integrated Audit Program (IAP), including managing the process for business hierarchy / audit universe changes. Coordinate and direct the development of the annual financial plan and forecast, overseeing expense management analysis throughout the year to ensure financial targets are achieved. Manage the development of the annual audit plan, including the tracking and reporting of its completion, and manage any adjustments to the plan. Contribute to other improvement initiatives and projects undertaken by the Professional Practices Team, enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of Audit Practices.

Challenges / Opportunities

Driving continuous improvement in quality and cost effectiveness of services provided. Collaborating with Audit Services management and staff to obtain consensus on improvements to the audit systems. Exercising and demonstrating sound business judgment. Prioritization and time management to meet project and objective commitments while maintaining flexibility.

Required Qualifications

Demonstrated experience in project and resource management, as well as talent development. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strategic mindset. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in diverse environments and cultures, over a number of geographically dispersed office locations. Ability to effectively communicate ideas orally and in writing, at Segment and Global Functions levels, and to listen and consider ideas of others. Excellent customer focus and commitment to quality. Results oriented; ability to balance multiple priorities and projects. Strong relationship skills including a demonstrated ability to deal effectively with staff at all levels. Proven project management skills in achieving departmental, project and individual objectives.

Preferred Qualifications

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders. Exceptional attention to detail. Strong experience with database tools, dashboards and SharePoint design / maintenance / programming would be an asset.

Referenced Salary Location : Toronto, Ontario

Work Modalities : Hybrid

Salary range is expected to be between $120,750.00 USD - $217,350.00 USD. The actual salary will vary based on local market conditions, geography, and relevant job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education / training.
