TABB Technician HVAC (Testing And Balancing Bureau)

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Read study and interpret system blueprints project mechanical drawings specifications and performance data to determine the proper configuration and purpose of the systems components.
• Collect and tabulate system test data and make field observations and recommendations.
• Create detailed reports checklists and documentation of test results and report any issues with the accompanying and supporting documentation.
• The technician will need to have proficiency in working with HVAC and mechanical systems and related sub-components of all types.
• Testing the performance of air and hydronic systems using tools and specialized test equipment.
• Mathematical proficiency is necessary for completing basic and advanced equations associated with Air and Hydronic balancing.
• In this role the TABB Technician will travel to different project locations as required.
• Will work independently and or as part of a team.

Geographic Disclosure

Compensation Range : $40 - $48 per hour The hourly rate is determined by the CBA / rate sheet and test results.

Benefits are provided through local labor union aligned with collective bargaining agreement.
