Descripción del trabajoWork in a diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab within a short-term acute care, teaching hospital Care for adult and geriatric patients diagnosed with CAD, PVD, and cancer Specialized procedures include interventional peripheral, diagnostic cardiovascular, and interventional pulmonary cases Typical staffing ratios are 1 : 5 Shift is 4x10 day shifts from 7 : 00 AM to 5 : 30 PM Cerner charting system is used Scrubs are provided Duties include performing and assisting with a range of diagnostic and interventional procedures including angiography, aortography, pulmonary arteriography, dialysis graft interventions, and bone marrow harvests Team members handle room setup, equipment preparation, supply stocking, and rapid response activation as needed This position requires strict adherence to sterile and isolation precautions Expect no holidays off during contract duration Return staff must have been separated from the facility for at least one year to be eligible Work schedule may not allow RTO for more than 8 days during the contract and more than 7 days between contracts; periop units have a 3-day RTO maximum per contract Local candidates within 60 miles are accepted at a lower rate Parking may incur a cost Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Cath Lab Technologist At least 1 prior travel assignment required Valid state license required if applicable Accepts ARRT (CI or VI) or RCIS certification Current BLS and ACLS required Proficiency in diagnostic catheterizations, hemodynamic monitoring, left / right heart catheterization, permanent and temporary pacemaker insertion, angioplasty, stent placement, and peripheral vascular interventions Experience with fluoroscopy, EKG lead placement, prepping access sites, circulating procedures, and maintaining sterile field Strong ability to recognize life-threatening arrhythmias and respond appropriately Two recent supervisor references are required for consideration High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts
