Coaches whose positive energy stays with a member long after they’ve left the studio, and they find themselves counting the hours till their next workout.

As a Fitness Coach you can expect to perform the following duties:

Leading and motivating members through pre-defined workouts

Helping members set and achieve goals

Making sure members are using correct form and offering corrections if they aren’t

Understanding the science behind our workouts specifically, heart-rate focused training programs in general, and being aware of what the competition is doing

Knowing how to use and demonstrate usage for every piece of equipment utilized in every workout

Being a team player

Additionally, you’ll need to meet these requirements:

Being AED/CPR certified

Hold and maintain a current fitness certification from an education company approved by Orangetheory Fitness

Orangetheory Fitness is a top trendsetting franchise fitness organization with over 1,000 studio locations open worldwide. We are rapidly growing across the country! Currently seeking qualified trainers and instructors who can deliver a fantastic workout experience to our clients. As an OTF Fitness Coach, you will be responsible for delivering scientifically predesigned workouts for up to 28+ clients per class. This position requires a strong ability to coach and manage time while motivating multiple clients in a group setting. Salary is extremely competitive in the industry with compensation incentives tied directly to membership and class attendance levels.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Deliver predesigned workouts to groups of 28+ members

Energize and motivate members throughout the class

Build OTF attendance while retaining and building relationships with current members

Ensure safety of participants in regards to heart rate and exercise technique

Provide options and challenges for specific exercises to accommodate various skill levels

Teach a minimum of 6 classes weekly

Attend monthly fitness staff meetings and required educational presentations

Handle member concerns when applicable

Assist sales associates, when needed, with OTF studio tours and sales

Adhere to strict cleaning and sanitizing protocols

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Current Personal Trainer Certification from select accredited certifying bodies such as ACSM, ACE, NASM, NSCA, ISSA, or AFAA.

2+ years of experience teaching groups or personal training in the fitness industry

Current CPR/AED Certification

Intermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics

Ability to multi-task and stay organized

Positive, motivating and effective interpersonal communication skills

Desire and capacity to train all fitness levels

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $25.00 to $65.00 /hour
