Digital Marketing Specialist
The Digital Marketing Specialist (DMS) is responsible for the execution and ongoing support of the company and client digital marketing initiatives. This role is hands-on and production-focused, working closely with senior leadership, account managers, and developers to implement marketing strategies across owned, organic, and paid channels.
The DMS brings a strong working understanding of modern digital marketing fundamentals, including how SEO has evolved alongside AI-driven search, generative engines, and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization). This position requires comfort working inside WordPress, creating and editing page layouts, managing on-page graphics, and supporting performance-driven marketing efforts that prioritize user experience, visibility, and conversion.
This is not a people-management role. Success in this position comes from execution quality, attention to detail, and the ability to translate strategy into well-built digital assets.
Core Functions
- Executes digital marketing initiatives aligned with company and client goals.
- Supports brand messaging across websites, search, and content channels.
- Assists in improving organic visibility, on-page SEO, and AI/GEO readiness.
- Contributes to performance optimization efforts tied to traffic, engagement, and conversion.
- Stays current on evolving SEO, AI-driven search behavior, and platform updates.
Responsibilities
- Builds, edits, and maintains WordPress pages, posts, and templates, including layout adjustments, on-page graphics, and content updates.
- Monitor and create social media content for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Google Business Profile platforms.
- Creates and updates digital graphics using Adobe products (including Adobe Express) or Canva-equivalent tools for web, landing pages, and marketing assets.
- Implements on-page SEO best practices, including metadata, internal linking, content structure, schema awareness, and image optimization.
- Understands how traditional SEO has evolved into AI-influenced discovery, including large language models, generative answers, and GEO concepts, and applies that understanding to content and site structure.
- Utilizes AI-assisted research, content allocation, and creation of agents for tasking.
- Supports organic and paid marketing initiatives by preparing assets, landing pages, and tracking elements as directed.
- Works with developers to ensure marketing pages are properly implemented, performant, and conversion-ready.
- Assists with content formatting, publishing workflows, and quality control across client websites.
- Helps audit existing pages for SEO, UX, and performance improvement opportunities.
- Provides marketing execution support for proposals, presentations, and client deliverables.
- Participates in R&D efforts related to tools, platforms, and emerging digital marketing practices as requested.
- Works in HubSpot, helping with Admin roles, emails, templates, sequences, and workflows.
- Supports internal teams with digital marketing needs as required.
- Participates in department workload and cross-functional projects as necessary.

Compensation Package
- Salary Range: $47,000 $52,000 annually, based on experience, background, and demonstrated client-facing skills
