We are seeking a talented and motivated Senior Software Engineer to join a dynamic team focused on building innovative web-based learning solutions. In this role, you will collaborate closely with engineers, designers, and product leaders to deliver high-quality features that delight users and drive product impact. You will contribute to both frontend and backend development, mentor peers, and help shape application architecture. Accountabilities
- Build, maintain, and enhance new and existing features with a focus on quality and scalability.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including engineers, designers, and product managers to define and implement solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide constructive code reviews to maintain high development standards.
- Participate in defining and evolving application architecture and coding best practices.
- Contribute to the incident response process and help ensure platform stability and reliability.
- Effectively prioritize tasks, focusing on delivering value to users and measurable outcomes.
- Actively participate in a remote-first, collaborative engineering culture, fostering knowledge sharing and team growth.
Requirements
Proven experience implementing, shipping, and maintaining production-quality software.Strong collaborative skills and experience working in team-based environments.Excellent communication skills, able to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.Self-driven with minimal need for direct oversight.Proficient in frontend development : React, JavaScript / TypeScript, and CSS / S(CSS).Proficient in backend development : Node.js, PostgreSQL, Docker.Strong familiarity with Git / GitHub and version control workflows.Nice to Haves :
Experience with AWS services (S3, SNS, SQS, etc.).Exposure to event-driven architectures and real-time collaboration technologies (CRDTs, WebSockets).Familiarity with TypeScript, ML / LLMs, OpenAI APIs, and accessibility best practices.Experience with additional frontend frameworks or Native Web Components.Understanding of browser automation, HTML / CSS inspection, and CLI scripting environments.Benefits
