Hematopathologist MD License

A company is looking for a Per Diem Hematopathologist, Remote.

Key Responsibilities

Performs diagnostic interpretation and sign out of flow cytometry and FISH cases

Reads and interprets laboratory data while ensuring quality control and assurance

Participates in case consultations and collaborates with clinical and administrative staff to maintain high standards

Required Qualifications

M.D. or D.O. degree with board certification / eligibility in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and Hematopathology preferred

At least five (5) years of attending level experience in hematopathology strongly encouraged

Active and unrestricted Medical License in the state of residence required; TX and NY licenses preferred

Willingness to engage as a 3rd party consultant

Proven experience in a multi-disciplinary team and using an automated laboratory information system (LIS)
