About the Role :
As an essential member of our client’s Construction Division, you will play a crucial role in landing new projects, promoting business expansion, and overseeing customer portfolios. Your responsibilities include spotting and evaluating opportunities, creating persuasive proposals, and growing the business across both existing and fresh markets. Moreover, you will constantly improve and refine business strategies, client relations, and new business acquisition methods.
This is a contract to hire opportunity. We are seeking candidates with the ability to start immediately.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and grow accounts while building robust client relationships.
- Examine Invitation to Bid and Scope documents to thoroughly understand customer needs before creating proposals.
- Study architectural plans to extract essential information for precise proposals.
- Craft and submit accurate and competitive proposals by the bid deadlines.
- Conduct timely and effective follow-ups to receive feedback on proposals and secure contracts.
- Carry out initial contract reviews to ensure alignment of scope and pricing with proposals before job handover.
- Keep meticulous records in CRM and filing systems.
- Utilize sales data and metrics, leveraging team resources for peak performance.
- Comprehend client nuances and proposal delivery methods to optimize effectiveness.
- Manage workload to ensure timely submission of proposals.
- Attend job walks, customer meetings, and networking events as required.
- Actively seek new leads and opportunities.
- Rapidly internalize sales processes, service offerings, and proposal skills.
- Quickly become proficient in our solutions and value proposition for construction final cleaning.
- Perform other assigned duties.
Qualifications :
Demonstrated success in construction estimating with outstanding customer service.Detail-oriented, organized self-starter thriving in a fast-paced setting.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities.High proficiency in mathematics and Excel, proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.At least 2 years of experience in Construction Estimating.Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously, varying in complexity.Skilled in reading building plan sets.Proficient in conducting client calls and scope review meetings.Persistent in follow-up processes to secure contracts.Effective in both short-term and long-term sales cycles.Dedicated to professional development and continuous learning.Technologically adept; able to quickly learn and use software.Able to work in the office daily with occasional visits to project sites or client offices.Preferred Qualifications :
Experienced with takeoff and proposal software.Familiar with platforms like Building Connected, ProCore, BidMail, etc.Knowledgeable in various bid delivery methods.Skilled in negotiating and contract reviews.Associate’s Degree (or equivalent) is preferred.Strong customer service background, ideally 1-2 years.Proficient with CRM systems like HubSpot.Bilingual in English and Spanish.
