Salary : $20-22 per hour

Broadley-James Corporation designs and manufactures high-quality pH and dissolved oxygen (DO) measurement solutions for both life science and industrial process applications.We are seeking a Precision Assembler who is responsible for performing basic, standardized and repetitive manual assembly operations of Broadley-James Corporations manufactured products.

Schedule : M-F, 5 : 30AM-2 : 00PM

Tasks and Responsibilities :

• Performs a variety of routine assembly operations, troubleshooting and repair.
• Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, print specifications, and parts lists; gathers parts, sub-assemblies, tools, and materials.
• Positions parts and sub-assemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
• Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and sub-assemblies.
• Verifies specifications by measuring completed component.
• Notifies supervisor of assembly problems in order to correct and meet specifications.
• Ensures assemblies and components are properly handled and marked.
• Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions with the approval of management.
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
• Documents actions by completing production daily logs.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Performs other duties as required to maintain production schedule including assisting other departments in daily activities to help meet production commitments.
• Works under direct, close supervision of production supervisor, or in his / her absence, from group leader, or other management so assigned.
• All other duties as assigned.
