Descripción del trabajoA desire to learn and grow Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Building Science, Civil Engineering or related field. Minimum 10 years of experience in heavy civil estimating. Demonstrated knowledge of Heavy Civil construction. Specifically, earthwork, underground water, underground wastewater, underground drainage and street / highway construction. TxDOT scope experience Experience with self-perform work. Sound organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications. Experience with Agtek Earthwork take-off software is preferred. Experience with HCSS Heavy Bid estimating software is preferred. Willingness to work in a team environment. Salary : $150,000 - $200,000 depending on experience + bonus. Health, Medical, Dental, Vision, Life / Accidental Insurance. 401k with 5% matching Company Vehicle or Vehicle Reimbursement & fuel card. Opportunities for advancement and on-site training.

The Senior Estimator will bid and complete estimates for Heavy Civil and Single Family (subdivision road and utility) infrastructure projects. They have extensive knowledge of Civil construction means / methods, project schedules and costs. The estimator will be a self-starter and possess the ability to meet critical deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Prepare bids, select vendors / subcontractors and estimate 'self-performed' crew compositions and production rates.
- Make scope of work determinations and perform quantity take-offs.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with clients.
- 100% detailed understanding of project scope.
- Communicate and collaborate with wide range of individuals, including both Operations and other Estimating team members.
