Senior Tax Manager - Partner Track

Established, full service, medium sized CPA firm located in the East Bay is seeking a skilled Senior Tax Manager with public accounting experience who is interested in transitioning to the role of Partner.

Responsibilities :

• Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns
• Prepare and review financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss reports to provide insight into current and projected financial positions
• Oversee and review team-prepared financial statements and journal entries
• Research and analyze complex financial and tax issues, applying sound judgment and offering proactive client solutions
• Provide representation for tax, audit, and appeals matters
• Supervise, mentor, and develop staff to enhance performance and career growth
• Build strong client relationships through effective communication and consulting expertise
