Step into Your New Role Kleinfelder's Northern California offices are seeking a Special Inspector to join our growing team. With a steady and growing backlog of work, we are excited to find the right person to join our growing Northern California team. We provide construction inspection and material testing services to a broad range of local and national clients. We are looking for individuals who are interested in joining a dynamic team and building their career in the field of construction inspection and materials testing.

We're looking for a person with strong initiative, who will perform routine to complex inspection and testing of construction materials in the field, in order to verify conformance to construction plans and specifications, and perform routine laboratory tests on soils and concrete, including compaction curves and concrete compressive strength tests.

The Special Inspector will interact daily with owner and contractor teams to inspect active work projects, will prepare daily reports and data sheets and may be called upon to perform various tasks to meet our client project goals.

Minimum Certifications include (or the ability to obtain within 60 days) :

• ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician - Grade I
• Radiation Safety & Nuclear Density Gauge Operation Training
• ICC Reinforced Concrete Special Inspector
• ICC Structural Masonry Special Inspector

Additional consideration will be given to individuals with the following additional certifications :

Must be able to use a computer and a general knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook software is required. Must have own vehicle, a valid driver's license and clean driving record required. Must be willing to travel throughout Northern California.

Education : High school diploma or equivalent required.

The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the California Pay Transparency Law. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience. Salary Range : $30.39 - $50.72 p / h
