Job Description

Job Title : Registered Nurse - Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)

Job Specialty : PACU

Job Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Day, 4x10-Hour (8 : 00 AM - 6 : 30 PM)

Guaranteed Hours : Not specified

Experience : Minimum 3 years of PACU experience highly preferred

License : Valid Registered Nurse license required

Certifications : COVID-19 vaccine not required; Flu vaccine required - no exemptions

Must-Have :

  • 1 year minimum experience with EPIC EMR
  • Phase 2 / post-op experience highly preferred

Job Description :

  • Work four 10-hour shifts with two options : 8 : 00 AM to 6 : 30 PM or 9 : 30 AM to 8 : 00 PM.
  • Care for adults, geriatrics, and pediatrics postoperative patient population.
  • On-call requirement includes one entire weekend per 6-week schedule period and one weekday call per week.
  • Wear royal blue scrubs.
  • Must live at least 50 miles away from relevant locations.
  • Mandatory pre-assignment testing and modules, with reimbursement for time spent completing modules (up to 16 hours).
  • Must be willing to float to other units or campuses based on census needs and qualifications.
