As a Security Officer - Resort Entry Control in Vinton, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a dynamic hotel and casino location, you will monitor entrances, manage access points, and help to deter security-related incidents by maintaining a visible presence throughout the property. Your role involves conducting regular patrols, interacting professionally with guests and staff, and responding promptly to any security-related concerns. What You'll Do :

Assist with access control by verifying credentials of guests, visitors, and staff at various points within the hotel, casino, and racetrack locations.

Provide exceptional customer service while carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, including interior and exterior areas, to help to deter unauthorized activities and address any concerns.

Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain an orderly environment for guests and staff.

Collaborate with hotel and casino personnel to address security-related issues and provide support during emergency response activities.

Document incidents, observations, and activities in accurate and timely reports as required by Allied Universal and site standards.

Remain visible and approachable to guests, providing directions and assistance as needed while maintaining a professional presence.

Minimum Requirements :

At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
