Flashfood is the app for grocerys best deals.We partner with grocers across North America to sell fresh produce, meat, and more for up to 50% off through our app with the mission of saving shoppers money on groceries, while also saving good food from going to waste.We work alongside our partners to ensure that surplus items whether seasonal, overstocked, or nearing expiration end up on dinner tables, not in the landfill.

  • Download Flashfood and create an account
  • Browse grocery deals at nearby stores
  • Add items to your cart and buy in the app
  • Pick up your haul from the Flashfood Zone at your local partner store
  • As an Account Executive at Flashfood, you will be responsible for driving sales and expanding our footprint within grocery retailers. You will play a critical role in identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with key decision-makers, and closing deals that contribute to our mission of reducing food waste.

    What youll do :

  • Prospecting and Lead Generation :
  • Identify and target potential grocery retail partners.

  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads.
  • Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and competitive landscape.
  • Sales Strategy and Execution :
  • Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets and growth objectives.

  • Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand the specific challenges and opportunities of potential clients.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals tailored to each prospect's needs.
  • Relationship Building :
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within target organizations.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing insights and solutions that align with their business objectives.
  • Negotiation and Closing :
  • Lead contract negotiations and close deals.

  • Collaborate with legal, finance, and other internal teams to ensure smooth contract execution.
  • Collaboration and Reporting :
  • Work closely with the Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.

  • Provide regular updates on sales activities, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts to senior management.
  • What youll need :

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales, preferably within the grocery retail or technology sector.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and closing large, complex deals.
  • Strong understanding of the grocery retail industry and its unique challenges.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Passion for sustainability and reducing food waste.
  • Travel requirements 30-40%
