Position Summary

As an Care Management Account Executive (AE), you will serve as the senior level liaison for strategic clients within the Care Management business segment. This is an excellent opportunity to interface with Executive Leadership both internally and externally. As a seasoned healthcare professional, you will use your years of expertise to grow our business through renewal, retention, and expansion into other care management offerings.

You will accomplish this through :

  • Leading a multi-disciplinary team (including clinical, healthcare analytics, IT, and operations) as the quarterback and will partner with our PBM colleagues to drive overall client satisfaction and own service delivery for assigned care management programs.
  • Leading client expansion opportunities through utilizing your consultative selling skills, recommending CVS Health solutions and tailoring to meet key client needs.
  • Facilitating, where appropriate, and participate in all client meetings to highlight financial performance and program value.
  • Assisting with execution and negotiation of client renewals of care management offerings by building existing relationships and developing new strategic relationships with key client stakeholders.
  • Monitor, track and make recommendations to deliver on financial projections of the client’s care management offerings.
  • Lead care management efforts for all client initiatives and projects including audits.
  • Cultivate a working relationship with the broader CVS Health team.

Your success as an Account Executive will be driven by your ability to support retention, growth of revenue and above average client satisfaction scores. An ability to think strategically across multiple disciplines, look long term and communicate in a professional manor is critical. You will function as a leader for the Care Management team and your ability to influence others to deliver results for your client will also be a key factor in your success. Your understanding of the PBM, pharmacy offerings, and managed care environment as well as keeping up to date on market trends will enable you to position CVS Health programs and solutions effectively to client decision makers. The contributions you will make as an Account Executive will position the care management division and CVS Health for long term success.

This position has the ability to work remotely within the U.S. or in a Corporate Hub. You must have ability to travel nationwide up to 30% of the time, on short notice at times.

Required Qualifications

At least 5 years of cumulative Account Management or equivalent client-facing experience in healthcare industry.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing multiple pharmacy and care management offerings.
  • Experience managing health plans, Medicare, Medicaid and employer groups clients.
  • Experience in interpreting and customizing reporting to meet Sr. Leadership and client needs.
  • Education

    Bachelor’s Degree is required. Equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered.

    Pay Range

    The typical pay range for this role is :

    54,300.00 - $139,200.00

    This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
