Position Overview :

Freedom Boat Club is the nations oldest and largest private member boat club.

As part of the talented Freedom Boat Club team you will be a customerfocused team member! We are seeking a tech savvy individual with bookkeeping experience to join our Accounting Team!

At Brunswick & Freedom Boat Club we have passion for our work and a distinct ability to deliver.

Essential Functions :

This role is responsible for performing accounting support responsibilities and will utilize QuickBooks every day.

Members of our Accounting team are responsible for the daytoday accounting activities (AP / AR Billing Fleet Registration etc.) and are experts at solving problems in a collaborative environment.

Diversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets / experiences are necessary; however others can be developed along the way.

Required Qualifications :

Minimum 1 year experience in general accounting using QuickBooks

Strong problemsolving skills basic accounting principles knowledge documentation skills research and resolution skills and multitasking skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills needed with ability to meet established deadlines

Must be well organized detail oriented and a selfstarter

Experience with data entry record keeping and computer operation

Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable experience a plus

Must have a team player attitude

Strong customer service orientation
