As we expand our presence in Colorado Springs, we are seeking a passionate and experienced Kitchen Manager to lead our back-of-house operations.
Job Summary
The Kitchen Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily kitchen operations, maintaining high food quality standards, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment, and leading a team of culinary professionals. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a passion for excellence in the hospitality industry.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including sanitation and food safety protocols
- Manage kitchen inventory, order supplies, and control food costs
- Train, mentor, and develop kitchen staff to promote teamwork and efficiency
- Create and maintain schedules to ensure proper staffing levels
- Collaborate with the executive chef and management team on menu development and specials
- Monitor kitchen equipment and coordinate maintenance or repairs as needed
- Maintain a positive and productive work environment, fostering a culture of accountability and respect
