POSITION SUMMARY :
The Administrative Services Manager I reports directly to the General Services Manager in the Office of General Services, Support Services Section and is responsible for supervising members assigned to the FDLE Property and Fleet Programs. The incumbent in this position spends the majority of their time communicating with, motivating, training and evaluating members while planning and directing their work. This position has the authority to hire, transfer, suspend, lay off, recall, promote, discharge, assign, reward, or discipline subordinate employees or effectively recommended such action.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
State government experience with fleet management, to include the purchasing, outfitting, coordination of assignments, or administrative tracking of fleet.

BACKGROUND :
FDLE requires an extensive background process of all recommended applicants. The elements of a background include : financial credit check, criminal history of applicant and applicant’s immediate family or roommates, personal references, employment and education verifications (which includes official transcript(s)), drug screen and fingerprinting. This information will be utilized to make the final hiring decision.
NOTES :
Preference will be given to current FDLE members who have satisfactorily completed at least six months of the probationary period for their current position.
