The Analytical Chemist will assist the lab supervisors / chemists by performing routine and non-routine laboratory analysis / wet chemistry on product and in-process samples, to support plant operations for the purpose of quality assurance and control. Utilize analytical instruments to address quality assurance and control issues.
Essential Functions :
Performing routine and non-routine laboratory analysis / wet chemistry
Flexibility for changing role as needed.
Perform calibration and maintenance of test equipment.
Conduct calibration and maintenance of analytical testing equipment
Prepare samples and ensure accurate data generation and records, in accordance with the standard operating procedures.
Prepare chemical stock solutions and reagents, as well as set preparation standards.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Engineering, or related field
2-5 years' experience with analytical laboratory experience preferred
Skills and Abilities :
Ability to communicate effectively written and orally
Basic understanding of GC systems
Must be able to work in a team environment
Must have strong computer skills
Must be able to obtain TWIC card
Type of Assignment : Temp to perm
Shift Schedule :
DuPont Schedule 12 hr. shifts
