Position : GIS Configuration Engineer

Location : Remote

Job-Type : Contract (Multi-Year)

Overview :

Design and build GIS-based solutions for data extraction, translation, collection, analysis, visualization, and reporting. This includes creating interactive dashboards and web mapping applications.

Here's what you will be working on :

Data Management : Data extraction, transformation, loading, validation, and modeling.
Application Development : Building and maintaining GIS applications using scripting, geo-processing, and other relevant tools.
System Administration : Configuring, integrating, and optimizing GIS software and hardware.
Analysis and Reporting : Conducting spatial analysis and generating reports to support decision-making.
User Support : Providing technical assistance and training to LaDOTD staff
