Job Title : Construction Manager / Assistant Project Manager
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Construction Manager / Assistant Project Manager to join our dynamic, employee-owned engineering and construction management firm. You will be responsible for overseeing a Children's Science Museum project in Sterling, Virginia, working as an Owner's Representative. This high-level administrative role requires proficiency with RFIs and submittals and involves working directly with the general contractor.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the construction project on behalf of the owner, ensuring all work aligns with project specifications and standards.
- Manage and process RFIs and submittals efficiently.
- Hold general contractors and subcontractors accountable to project schedules and deliverables.
- Serve as the on-site representative, maintaining strong communication with all project stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress and report any issues or delays to the relevant parties.

Work Environment
The position will be based in Sterling, VA, overseeing the construction of a new Children's Science Museum. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $100000.00 / hr.
