Job Title : Machine Operator

Job Description

Candidates will be operating both a CNC Laser and CNC Press Brake, performing laser cutting and welding operations. This role involves selecting proper cutting and welding programs, establishing proper stop locations, adjusting laser beam focal points, performing set-ups for cutting and welding operations, and conducting general maintenance as required. Additionally, candidates will perform dimensional inspections and detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department manager. You may also be required to work in different production areas as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Saw
• Select proper cutting and welding programs and fixtures.
• Establish proper stop locations and adjust laser beam focal points.
• Perform set-ups for cutting and welding operations.
• Conduct general maintenance as required.
• Perform dimensional inspections.
• Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department manager.
• Work in different production areas as needed.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $25.00 / hr.
