Job description

A company is looking for an Area Business Director (Midwest) to lead the sales team and execute the launch strategy for a new treatment for Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA).Key ResponsibilitiesRecruit, coach, and retain a high-performing field sales teamDevelop and implement area sales strategies in collaboration with cross-functional teamsEnsure achievement of sales targets and compliance with corporate valuesRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree and a minimum of 10 years of pharma / biotech commercial experienceSignificant commercial leadership experience with a track record of achieving sales goalsPrevious product launch experience, preferably in rare or neuromuscular diseasesGeneral understanding of U.S. payer and market access dynamicsThorough understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements
