Sr. Business technology analysts work with the business and IT to assist in technology integration. This includes assisting with the oversight of the company's current information technology (IT) assigned systems portfolio to ensure technology-related goals are met. Technology Initiative Analysts are expected to work with and improve upon current systems while taking budgetary concerns into consideration. They must have the knowledge to suggest more cost-effective software and web-based applications when appropriate, provide guidance and leadership to less experienced team members, and adhere to company procedures and policies at all times.

• Responsible for the creation and implementation of business processes, workflow, technology solutions and technology frameworks within a business organization.
• Identifies and defines business needs, providing detailed gap analysis, identifying opportunities for business workflow improvement.
• Performs analysis and investigative work to determine and document business requirements and specifies effective business processes through improvements in information systems, information management, practice, procedures.
• Determines requirements using interviews, business process descriptions, user stories, use cases, source to target diagrams, operational models, and workflow analysis.
• Follow business-specific standards relevant to various business industries when creating business / functional / system requirements.
• Configure business rules and business / functional / system requirements for improvements or new additions to the current computer system.
• Provide technical oversight to software and application enhancement.
• Responsible for adhering to system maintenance policies such as Version Control, Form Management, Baseline Management, Change Management, and Release Management.
• Responsible for maintenance and improvements / enhancements to the existing technology within a business organization.
• Interfaces with vendors regarding new product evaluation contract review and troubleshooting issues.
• Identifies and document defects and defines and validates corrective actions.
• Serves as liaison and resource between business analyst team and client success managers, developers, and other project team members throughout each phase of the process to help clarify and / or resolve issues related to requirement, design, testing and acceptance specifications as subject matter expert.

• Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $75.00 / hr.
