Job title : Strategic Buyer
Mission : The Strategic Buyer is responsible for playing a key role in transforming a Procurement team with the ambition to be the Best in Class. You will contribute to managing the procurement of raw materials for the plant, being involved in the commodity strategy definition with a specific focus on sourcing execution. You will foster long-term partnerships with suppliers, as their focal point for supplier visits, business reviews and negotiations, price lists, and quality management.
Key Responsibilities :
- Maintain effective relationships and communication with internal key stakeholders, such as Operations, Supply Chain, R&D, Quality, and Finance.
- You will prepare and conduct negotiations with suppliers regarding commercial terms, payment conditions, and delivery terms in collaboration with the Regional and Global Commodity Managers.
- Prepare and analyze performance, risk, and sustainability reports for business meetings.
- You will conduct a comparative analysis of the supplier’s capabilities and cost drivers to gain insights and improve spending efficiency and effectiveness for the raw materials.
- Support the execution and tracking of innovation and sustainability projects in line with our business and ESG targets.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
