Summary
As an over-the-road CDL Team Driver through all 48 states, you will be essential in ensuring timely and safe transportation of goods across long distances. Reporting to Dispatch and HR, you will utilize your core skills in commercial driving to operate semi-trucks and trailers efficiently. Your premium skills in handling automatic transmission trailers will enhance your performance in a no-freight touch scenario. Additionally, your relevant experience in delivery driving and load / unload operations will contribute to the seamless execution of routes. Responsibilities
Safely operate a semi-truck or trailer to transport goods and materials to designated locations
Drop off at destination and then hook up without touching the freight
Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries
Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and fill out checklists and reports
Comply with all traffic laws, regulations, and safety guidelines
Maintain accurate records of daily logs, permits, mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or violations
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, HR, and team members
Compensation and Benefits
Our guaranteed minimum payment for team drivers is $2000 each for 6000 miles. Get paid $0.80 as a team per extra mile driven.
Referral bonus of $500 for team drivers once they work for a month
Clean DOT inspection bonus of $100 to $500
Stay on the road bonus of an extra $100 after 6 work weeks
Breakdown Support of $100 per day per driver + lodging accommodations
Modern Fleet automatic Freightliner Cascadia, Western Star, or Volvo (2021-2025 models) equipped with inverters, fridges, microwaves, and ByPass
