Position : CERTIFIED OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY ASSISISTANT
POSITION SUMMARY : The staff Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA / OTA) functions under the general supervision of the physical medicine lead and under the direct supervision of the therapist responsible for a specific patient’s care. The staff COTA / OTA assumes responsibility and accountability for providing modalities and treatment procedures as determined by a treatment plan established by an occupational therapist and in accordance with established hospital and departmental policies while maintaining the highest degree of quality patient care.

Qualifications
Education, Training, Experience and Licenses / Registrations Required :
1. Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA / OTA) 2. Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire and maintain certification throughout employment
