We are seeking a seasoned and dynamic Chief Engineer to join our growing plant in High Point. This role is perfect for a professional with a strong background in PLC programming, capital project management, and wastewater treatment. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design and maintenance of our complex engineering systems while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Job Details
Responsibilities :
1. Oversee the operation and maintenance of our complex engineering systems, including PLCs, Allen Bradley PLC, and Ladder Logic.
2. Develop and implement capital project management strategies to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
3. Monitor the performance of wastewater treatment processes and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal operation.
4. Oversee the operation and maintenance of NH3 refrigeration and Ammonia systems, ensuring compliance with all relevant safety and environmental regulations.
5. Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement strategies for improving operational efficiency and effectiveness.
6. Lead the development and implementation of training programs for engineering staff to ensure they are up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices.
7. Act as the company's primary engineering liaison with external stakeholders, including customers, regulators, and suppliers.
Qualifications :
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the Accounting + Finance industry.
3. Proven experience with PLCs, Allen Bradley PLC, Ladder Logic, capital project management, wastewater treatment, NH3 refrigeration, and Ammonia systems.
4. Strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to manage a team and collaborate effectively with other departments.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to identify and implement effective solutions to complex engineering problems.
6. Strong project management skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
7. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex engineering concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
8. Strong commitment to safety and environmental compliance, with a proven track record of ensuring the safe and compliant operation of complex engineering systems.
