Job descriptionEPIC certification Preferred 5 years of leadership experience required Experience overseeing Epic and non-Epic applications and technologies in support of Population Health, Ambulatory, Post-acute care, Community Health, and Systems Implementations Working Knowledge of Epic Systems including build, support, integrations, and optimization. Hands-on Experience implementing and supporting Clinical systems Strong understanding of operational and clinical workflows across care settings. Effective leadership in guiding cross-functional teams through system implementations and enhancements. Proven ability to lead and manage system prioritization and change control processes, clinical and technical process improvement initiatives, and budget planning and management. Overview :
Sentara Health is seeking a passionate IT leader to join our team as Director of IT Clinical Systems!
Areas of responsibility include Epic and non-Epic applications and technology in support of Population Health, Ambulatory / HOD, Community Connect, Post Acute, and implementation. The successful candidate should have a working knowledge of Epic, application and technical experience in implementing and supporting clinical systems, and strong knowledge of operational and clinical workflows. This leader will be responsible for build, support, integrations, implementations, optimization, prioritization, change control, process improvement, and budget management.
Education
- Bachelors Degree Preferred.
- Experience in lieu of Bachelors Degree
- 8 relevant years experience with a degree
- 10 relevant years of experience without a degree
Certification / Licensure
Experience
We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay rate for full-time employment ranges from $136,843.20 to $254,155.20. Additional compensation may include shift differentials, standby / on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonuses.
