Job Title : CNC Machinist

About the Role :

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce precision parts and components according to specified dimensions and tolerances. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of machining processes, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities :

Machine Setup and Operation : Configure and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, milling, and turning, ensuring adherence to specifications and production schedules.
Program Interpretation : Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documents to determine machine settings and operational sequences.
Quality Assurance : Conduct inspections of finished products using precision measuring instruments to verify conformance to specifications, making adjustments as necessary.
Maintenance : Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines, including cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs, to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
Safety Compliance : Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, maintaining a clean and organized work area to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
Troubleshooting : Identify and resolve issues during the machining process, making necessary adjustments to maintain product quality and efficiency.
Documentation : Maintain accurate records of production activities, including quantities produced, materials used, and any maintenance performed.

Qualifications :

Experience : Minimum of 2 years of experience operating CNC machines in a manufacturing setting.

Technical Skills : Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders. Familiarity with various types of metal materials and their properties.

Physical Requirements : Ability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Education : High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in CNC machining or a related field is preferred.

Soft Skills : Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
