Key Responsibilities

Gather requirements, analyze existing processes, and design solutions to meet business needs

Design, code, test, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL and provide ongoing support for production systems

Create and optimize DB2 queries and develop batch processing jobs using JCL

Required Qualifications

Advanced knowledge of COBOL, CICS, DB2, and JCL

Experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and tools like GitHub and JIRA

Ability to work collaboratively with business analysts, testers, QA teams, and other developers

Experience in preparing and updating technical documentation and process flows

Familiarity with Eclipse-based tools is a plus
