JOB SUMMARY

Instructional Student Assistants : Under immediate supervision, the Instructional Student Assistant will assist one or more regular faculty members or the teaching staff with various professional, technical and research-based duties associated generally with the subjects or programs in the department of Communication.

Specifically, you will assist Dr. Thomas Corrigan in his large lecture course, Comm 3305, Digital Media and Society.

TYPICAL ACTIVITIES

• Publishing course materials to Canvas page
• Responding to student emails
• Recording class attendance
• Using rubrics to evaluate student work
• Providing feedback on discussion posts
• Entering grades in Canvas gradebook
